Alison has maintained a diverse and responsive creative practice since the 1970s, based in performance and with a strong emphasis on social inclusion, cross-disciplinary collaboration and cross-cultural exchange
She has written, devised and/or co-devised over 50 original works for professional, student and community performance and other events and contributed to dozens more as a writer, dramaturg, director or performer
Alison’s scholarly writing and her contributions to Performance as Research have been recognised in Australia and internationally, as a bridge between industry, community, the art theatre and the academy
Alison is also active in projects within her local community to support cultural diversity, biodiversity and connect with pre-colonial heritage.
